The second edition of Here Comes Your Lead was held on October 7 online. This program organized by Biocat seeks to connect early-stage research projects with national and international companies, platforms and CROs to establish a research collaboration model with shared risk and rewards.

The purpose of the event was to accelerate the drug-discovery process and boost the flow of therapeutic molecules in the advanced phases in the BioRegion of Catalonia. Biocat facilitated contact between the partners, which reviewed the proposals and chose the ones that best fit their needs and interests. In total, 23 projects participated and 48 meetings were held.

In 2021, the partners in the program were Applus laboratories (EU), Institute for Research in Biomedicine - IRB (Barcelona), Link Medical, Welab (EU), Evotec (EU), and CRG (Barcelona).
